Last winter as part of one of Beeyond Treasures seasonal Ladies Night, I donated a full portrait session to be part of the raffle prize package. When Suzan called me to tell me she won, I was just as excited for her as she was! She told me she never wins anything, which makes this session extra special.
This year I was so lucky to meet a new friend in Laura. She is the owner of Farmyard Blooms located in Fowlerville, Michigan. Not only is she passionate about her stems, she also loves sharing her knowledge with others.
It is that time of year again, the beginning of the end for many high school seniors. Friday night football games, homecoming, senior photos and planning for what comes next. I remember it being overwhelming, but it was also so very exciting. This chapter may have many highs (and even some lows), but for most their book of life is just getting started.

WOW, is almost all I have to say about this session, but I must go on. Blue, jeans and white tees, beautiful faces, adorable children, a rock-n-roll vibe, and smiles all around, made this session one of my favorites.
Since Castle Black is where the Demers family photos are slatted to be hung, I knew I needed to come up with something perfect to fit the vibe. Castle Black is a my cousin’s beautiful home, where everything is, you guessed it, black. Black and edgy…and skull-and-bones…
All week long Barb and I stalked the weather apps, it was supposed to not just rain, but thunderstorm during her long awaited family photos. Barb’s son was in from Portland this week and we couldn’t just reschedule. So I prayed! The day before the chances of rain at this time of day was like […]
On a perfectly beautiful summer night, at a perfectly beautiful location, under a perfectly beautiful tree, a perfectly beautiful couple said “I do.”
