One of my own wedding day regrets is only purchasing a digital package from my wedding photographer. We were trying to save money and I always intended to get an album and prints later. Well, by the time we got our images six months later (which is a different story entirely), the wedding seemed so far behind us and those good intention kept getting pushed down the list of things to do.
Now, over 10 years later, I have printed and framed exactly two images. One large photo for our hallway and one small photo for my desk. To be honest, in today’s digital age we all forget the importance of having something tangible that we can hold, feel, and touch. WHY DO YOU ONLY OFFER ONE
ALL INCLUSIVE WEDDING PACKAGE?
I only offer one wedding package in order to provide my clients with the best experience. Eight hours of coverage tends to be the Goldilocks approach. It allows me to capture everything and not skip on any details. It also helps with wedding planning decision fatigue (which is a real thing), no complicated choices or hidden charges. Of course, if you feel eight hours isn't enough, you can buy extra coverage.
WHEN DO WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
For weddings it's typically around 4 weeks, with a sneak peek of the wedding within 7 days. For engagements it's usually around 2 weeks. All of your images are delivered online in a private gallery and you'll be downloading the full resolution images.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET OUR ALBUM?
After I deliver the digital gallery, I will get to work designing your album. I will send you a proof to approve or make change requests. Once the proof is approved, you will have your album within 14 days. Most wedding clients have an album in hand before their two month anniversary!
WHERE WILL WE MEET FOR THE CONSULTATION?
Generally, I meet bridal clients in my office at The Brighton Light House, located in Brighton, Michigan. However, we can meet at a Starbucks near you if that is easier.
HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL FOR A WEDDING?
I will travel just about anywhere. Weddings with a location further than 10 miles outside of Livingston County will include a travel fee. Travel fees start at $40.
DO YOU REQUIRE A RETAINER?
Yes, to secure your booking and wedding date, there is a 50% non-refundable retainer required.
ARE YOU INSURED?
I am fully insured. If your venue needs proof of insurance just let me know and I'll be happy to provide that for you.
