I first officially met Derek and Cara at their wedding consultation. Although I have watched Cara sing with her beautiful voice at church many times, we never met one another until her wonderful aunt mentioned that someone at church photographs weddings. Once we met I felt like we were instant friends! Cara was such an easy going and joyful bride. You could tell the only detail she really cared about was getting to the alter to exchange vows with Derek.
On their special day, Morgan made sure to incorporate touches of neon green throughout the details, honoring Alex’s favorite color. From the vibrant koozies to her own neon green-painted toenails peeking out from under her wedding gown, every detail was meticulously thought out. It’s these personal touches that make a wedding truly unforgettable.
As I stood outside the Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Blanc, Michigan, my camera in hand, I couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of excitement. Today was the day that Justin and Nikki would begin their journey as husband and wife, and I had the incredible opportunity to capture every precious moment of their wedding day.
I have to tell you about this stunning garden party bridal shower. It was hosted in the backyard of my friend Laura, who is also the mother of the bride and let me tell you, her garden was absolutely breathtaking. The flowers were in full bloom and the greenery was so lush and vibrant. It was truly a fairy tale setting for a shower.
I met these two at there bridal appointment a few months back. I loved hearing the story of how they met while working at a car dealership. You just never know where love is going to hit you! Morgan knew she wanted something that was natural and a bit rustic for their engagement photos, so […]
Last month, I had the pleasure of participating in a 70’s romance styled shoot as a photographer at the beautiful Lux West Studio in Muskegon, MI. The shoot was a collaborative effort featuring three stunning brides and two handsome grooms. The brides looked absolutely breathtaking in their gowns from JaeLaimee Bridal. And, the grooms looked […]
Today, I want to take you through the enchanting beachside engagement photoshoot of Nikki and Justin at Seven Lakes State Park in Michigan. It was a beautiful spring evening on the beach, where the water gently kissed the shore, and it was filled with love, laughter, and beautiful moments forever captured in the sand. As […]
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. – Ecclesiastes 4:12 This was one of the sweetest, moving, and most intimate weddings I have ever witnessed. High school sweethearts, Sarah and Jack, chose to be surrounded by only their beloved families, as they exchanged their […]

From their festive formal wear to the casual cute, they really nailed it! These two booked with me back in the fall, but Cara had a few things […]
I have been looking forward to this wedding ever since taking Erin and Bryan’s engagement photos. They hadn’t hired me for the wedding yet, but after receiving the gallery she sent me a message and said, “I want you to be my photographer for the wedding.” Erin is an old friend, a friend who did […]
