Happy First Day of Summer!!! Here in Michigan, on the day where we get the most amount of minutes of actual sunlight…we celebrated with a mini photo session of this adorable brother and sister duo at an amazing flower farm, Farmyard Blooms, located in Fowlerville, Michigan.

I met both JJ and Liliana today for the first time and it was immediately apparent that JJ was kind, silly, and very smart; and Liliana was free spirited, independent, and super spunky. Their induvial personalities shined during the short session. Despite the raging heat, I think we had a lot of fun!!!

There is much inspiration at the flower farm and we started with some portraits near the white vintage barn, a backdrop I fell in love with the first time I saw it. Then we move quickly to the flowers. The sunflowers and snap dragons were so vibrant and did not disappoint.

Thank you so much for trusting me to take some timeless photos of your family. The hands of time stop for no one, so I’m glad I could give you some moments frozen in time. My hope is that you will one day look back on these images and say, “Remember when…”; and memories of this era of your lives will coming flooding back and fill you with joy, smiles, and love.
