Since Castle Black is where the Demers family photos are slatted to be hung, I knew I needed to come up with something perfect to fit the vibe. Castle Black is my cousin’s beautiful home, where everything is, you guessed it, black. Black and edgy…and skull-and-bones. Although my style is bright and true to life, I knew that style wouldn’t work in Dan’s home. So I broke my own rules and came up with a location and images I think will have the perfect effect that Dan was looking for.

The All Heart Garage on Rickett Road in Brighton is a brand new site, not even open to the public yet. Owned by the same family who has blessed the community with the Brighton Light House, AHG is another space that is going to bless the community more. From the meeting, working, garage and storage space, there are so many ways for business owners to use the space. And, for me, a photographer, I used it as inspiration for Castle Black.

Dan, Sargent, and Dena killed it!!! They were tough when they needed to be, cool with out me even asking, and naturally fun to shoot. All around, I had so much fun!!!

Cuz, thank you so much for asking me to take these images. And, thank you for making the hour drive, one way, to use this location that I knew would be perfect for you. I think that for your first official family photo session, you three were amazing. I can’t wait to send you the entire gallery and then see which image you choose to blow up and hang over your staircase in your entry way. I know which ever one you choose, it will look epic.
