It snowed yesterday, yes, it was October 20th and big fluffy white snow flakes fell from a dark and dreary sky. Today on the other hand, it was in the sixties and sunny. Is Michigan weather a little bipolar? Yes, but I’m thanking my lucky starts for the mild temperatures and the sun kissed, golden glow, that we had today. After all, I don’t think little Grayson, who is only one year and one day old (a fact I learned from his very excited big brother) would have loved what yesterday’s forecast was offering.
I truly enjoyed this session, not only did the weather turn out in our favor and there was birthday boy in my midst, but I then learned one of the couples that was coming was expecting, and bonus…I would have 3 generations of Malkowski men at the session to shoot. This is like the trifecta for a photographer, all the things you want to shoot for special sessions and occasions, all wrapped up into one.
Bret and Dawn, I’m so thankful that your soon to be sister-in-law gave you my information. It was such a treat to capture these images for your adorable family today. The kids did great by the way! And, other than the wind, the weather was perfect. Thank you for trusting me. Enjoy your sneak peek for now, until your full gallery is ready. XO, Kelly Harper.
