When I started my business, I knew I wanted to largely focus on giving back to the community. Doing so always looks different, from photographing events for non-profits, to volunteering at church, and even offering free sessions at HOA events, for instance setting up an area to shoot photos of the kids as they came by during our subdivision Trail or Treat. And, that is where I met the Mates. A year later, when they needed a photographer for family photos they reached out to me. Today we made magic, in a winter wonderland, on the very same trails we met.

Little Andrew and Kaylee did very well given the less than stellar temps. After Kaylee caught sight of her big bro playing in the snow, she wanted to join in and I was able to capture some great expressions, freezing this stage of their lives in a fun and playful way.

Jenna, thank you so much for getting in contact with me to get some updated photos of your adorable family. I think you will be very pleased with the final gallery, as it was hard for me to pick favorites for this sneak peek. Gosh those kids are just way too cute, look how magical the next photo is!
