Bridget and Guy’s love story is one that makes you believe in second chances. High school sweethearts who found their way back to each other years later, tied the knot last Saturday, at the Brighton Light House surrounded by friends, family, and the sweetest kind of joy.
The weather had its own plans, with an unexpected storm shifting their ceremony indoors. But honestly? The atmosphere couldn’t have been more perfect. They walked down the aisle together to If I Should Fall Behind, and their ceremony included my all-time favorite poem by E.E. Cummings, I Carry Your Heart. Their handwritten vows had us all laughing one second and tearing up the next, it was impossible not to feel the weight and beauty of their story. My absolute favorite part of the day? HANDS DOWN…when all of their guests sang “Take Me Home, Country Roads” for the couple’s recessional, such a perfect sendoff for these two.
After the ceremony, we made our way to Brewery Becker for a reception that was as delicious, as it was cozy and fun. Between the food, the laughter, and the love in the room, it was clear everyone was there to celebrate Bridget and Guy’s second chance at forever.
April and Nick’s wedding was held on the lawn of a charming southern-style clubhouse, with large wrap-around porches and breathtaking views of the Atlantic as their backdrop…
