Hannah and Jacob’s wedding at Rustic Escapes in Albion, MI was purely a joy-filled celebration from top to bottom. From the moment I arrived, the energy was so fun, just like this couple and all their amazing guests. Hannah’s friends were absolutely doting on her while she got ready, and every time someone saw her for the first time that day, she couldn’t hold back the tears. Those little moments of emotion set the tone for a day that was overflowing with love.

When Hannah and her dad walked down the aisle to “Truly Madly Deeply,” there wasn’t a dry eye in the barn. Hannah herself was waterworks in the sweetest way, and it was impossible not to get swept up in it right along with her. One of my favorite parts of the ceremony was their unity ritual, a shot together. I haven’t seen this before, but I absolutely loved it! It was so perfectly them, playful and unique.

The joy carried straight into the reception, where even the cake cutting turned into a nearly full-on food fight. I don’t think Hannah believed Jacob would actually do it, but he insists she started. Well I have photo evidence and honestly, the evidence tell both sides! It was moments like that—full of laughter, happy tears, and the most joyful people that made their day unforgettable.
