After the crazy weather I experienced last year for my Christmas Minis, I knew I wanted to plan something indoors this year. I wanted something simple and clean, allowing my subjects to be the main focus of the images. I didn’t want anything too fussy that would be distracting. I came up with this simple set, using the white couch that already lives in the workshop at the Brighton Light House. I added some green pops with a rug and some trees. Simple, timeless, classic!!!
Things that worked well last year that I want to incorporate again this year where the Santa hats, mistletoe and cookies. I have found if I tell the kids that the very last set of photos are going to be eating cookies, I get a lot of cooperation. It also makes for adorable bonus photos of mom and dad (and maybe even grandma).
My set was perfect for all ages from the littles to teenagers, and even adult children. Enjoy the sneak peek for now and I can’t wait to see what images make an appearance on these families holiday cards.
Taryn and Dan’s wedding at Waldenwoods felt like a love story plucked straight from the pages of a dreamy novel or a verse of a good Taylor Swift song—and honestly, that was the vibe Taryn had in mind. BTW she nailed it!!!
April and Nick’s wedding was held on the lawn of a charming southern-style clubhouse, with large wrap-around porches and breathtaking views of the Atlantic as their backdrop…
