Today was an exciting day! I packed my gear and headed due west, driving until the side walk ended at Lake Michigan, for the Martin extended family session. The Martin’s gathered their entire clan for their annual 4th of July celebration, what a perfect time for family photos. Jeff and Janelle must be so proud, four children, four children-in-laws and ten grand children!!! What a legacy.

As I shot this family and observed them interacting with each other, it was evident how close they all were. Like, they genuinely loved being together and spending time together. Not something every family has.

They also showed up looking perfect for a beach session, in all my favorite colors, shades of blue and blush. Perhaps they read the style guide or perhaps they just have fabulous taste. Enjoy the sneak peek.

Thank you for choosing me for these special photos. I was blessed to have witnessed great love during this session. I have to say, you all also impressed me, hiking through the hot sand and navigating your way around all the holiday beach goers, while being dressed to impress.
