One of the many things I love about my photography business is, it has been a reason to connect with so many long lost friends. Friends I haven’t seen in a decade! Friends that I have loved, but because of busy lives have fallen out of step with. Bre was one of those friends, so when she reached out to see if I would be interested in taking Aubree’s pictures for her seventh birthday, I was like, YEAH!!! Not only would I get to capture images of her extremely adorable little girl, I would get to see Bre, give her a big hug and kind of catch up on life during the session.
And that is what we did. The moment she pulled up to meet me at Farmyard Blooms, she jumped out the car and as we hugged, I said “has it really been 10 years?” Bre was just as sweet and joyful as I remembered.
The session went so well, Aubree did everything we asked of her and acted the exact way a seven year would, sweet, silly, and totally distracted by Potter, the photo bombing barn cat. Her interactions with him were just too cute not to snap, so just for fun, I’m throwing a few in the sneak peek.
Bre, thank you again for reaching out and asking me to take Aubree’s photos. It was so nice to finally meet her. I know she is your whole world and your whole heart, so it means so much to me that I get to deliver these images to you. Even though the next photo isn’t so serious, it captures Aubree’s stage of life perfectly and deserves to be cherished as much as the others. I hope you love the sneak peek, the whole gallery is going to be great. XO – Kelly Harper
