Each year, August marks the beginning of the end of an era for many high school seniors. What an exciting and nervous time! The last first-day of school, the last homecoming, planning Senior Prom, getting ready for college, the last last-day of school, all of mom’s tears along the way…and of course the perfect SENIOR PICTURES.
There is certainly enough to worry to about, so don’t stress out about the senior pictures, that is my job! From helping with outfit selection, to finding the perfect location, I am here to help every step of the way.
Ask Amanda. I met this beautiful young lady in person a few weeks before her shoot. I found out what she wanted as far as style for her pictures. We talked clothing and she even showed me a few things she really wanted to wear. I also learned exactly what type of pictures she didn’t want. This time together was so helpful and allowed me to suggest a location that I thought would be perfect. And it was!
The James Atchison Memorial Park in Lyon Township, MI was just what I needed to make her senior photos everything she wanted. So much inspiration in one place! From the stone paved hill to the fields of wildflowers, we were able to capture the timeless arterial photos she wanted.
We also utilized an old blue shipping container to get some stylish Instagram worthy images. I was able to finish her session at the top of the hillside, right around sunset. All in all, it was a fun and gorgeous evening!
Amanda (and family), I can’t thank you enough for such an incredible senior session! I am so grateful that you agreed to use this unknown, mostly abandoned park. I hope more seniors choose to shoot there in the future! I loved every minute of my time with you and hope that our paths continue to cross.
