Sometimes, the best moments are the unplanned ones! Emily and Steve’s mini, last-minute engagement session at the Howell Balloonfest was nothing short of playful and fun. The fair was buzzing with color and energy, and the vibrant atmosphere made for some truly fantastic photos. We wandered through the fairgrounds, capturing moments doing all the traditional fair things…games, photobooths, and cotton candy. The results…some of my all time favorite photos which are clearly filled with laughter and love.
Adrianne and John’s engagement shoot in the charming town of Chelsea, MI, was a blast. The iconic Clock Tower, where they plan to exchange vows, provided a picturesque backdrop that perfectly complemented their love story.
I just had the sweetest time photographing little Samuel’s first photoshoot at The Collective in Howell. This cozy spot was perfect for capturing those precious newborn moments with Mom and Dad.
When the kids come home from out of state to celebrate big things, weddings, new babies and father’s day (all in the same weekend), it is the perfect time to update the family photos!
Noah recently had his one year photo session with me, marking his fifth session since he was born. This time, we headed to the Brighton Light House for a special photo shoot.
The engagement session for Taryn and Dan was a special day for them, exactly one year before their wedding. They requested we go to the Botanical Gardens and Arboretum in Ann Arbor for their photoshoot. This was my first time at both locations. My favorite part was the tropical room in the conservatory, and the fairy tale like trees at the arboretum.
I am sharing part two of Maddie’s senior experience. Graduating in the next few weeks from Brighton High School, it is an exciting time for her and her family! Last fall we took to Kensington for some warm autumn photos and for this session we decided to dance in the flower fields at Muddy Acres Flower Farm in Plymouth.
Alex is a proud Class of 2024 graduated from UofM’s Art School, Stamps!!! And, her mom wanted to celebrate this amazing achievement by capturing some beautiful memories in her cap and gown on campus. As, with every client, I was so honored that she chose me with such a special task.
By far one of my favorite senior session to date!!! For Alex we decided to shoot in Ann Arbor to achieve a more edgy look. So we started at one of my favorite parking structures near Liberty and State St, where the unique architecture provided a perfect backdrop for some epic shots.
This is why family sessions are some of my favorites!!! This was such a special session because Bri actually won a family photo session with me last fall, and she decided to use it on Mother’s Day weekend when all her siblings would be in town. It was so great to see the whole family together laughing and having a good time, dogs in tow.
