I met Jordan last fall when I took her headshots for work and she was just the sweetest. So, I was super excited when she reached out saying how much she liked working with me and wanted to know more about my wedding package. Long story short, we met for a consultation, and now here we are shooting her and Nathan’s complementary engagement photos.

When I met with the couple, I asked a lot of question to get to know them and learned quickly the Nathan loved the outdoors and wild game, so much so that they are having their wedding at a local ranch. So for their engagement photos, I want to give them that outdoor feel that would match the wedding theme, with a dash of whimsy and a sprinkle of magic. I had a location picked out but at the last minute asked them if they would want to shoot on the walking trails located on the property of Citizens Insurance building in Howell.

I also learned they loved their German Shepherd, Jethro. He will be included in the first look on the wedding day and it is no surprise he was included today. I am always super excited when clients ask to bring their dogs to a session. They just add a little bit extra of an “awe” to the images. For being only seven months old…he did amazing, with the mother of bride being his handler for today’s session that is.
