When a dance mom from the Dance Place, in Waterford, MI, reached out to me and asked if I was interested in partnering with them for a fundraiser, the answer was of course…YES!!! After all, I did start my business as a way to bless the community and this was one of those special opportunities that allowed me to give back by sharing my passions and talents.
These minis, taken at The Brighton Light House, were at a special discounted rate and half the proceeds went to one of the dance teams from the studio. All the families that signed up were so fun and adorable. I had families show up in PJs and some showed up dressed to impress. I had 3 generations of women in one group and I even had a three month old baby in another. Today gave me an opportunity to work with so many different and wonderful people. Although each set was a little different from the last, one thing was true…everyone LOVED the hats and cookies. Even some moms and dads wanted to get in on the cookie fun!!!
The sneak peeks below are some of my favorite from each session.
Taryn and Dan’s wedding at Waldenwoods felt like a love story plucked straight from the pages of a dreamy novel or a verse of a good Taylor Swift song—and honestly, that was the vibe Taryn had in mind. BTW she nailed it!!!
April and Nick’s wedding was held on the lawn of a charming southern-style clubhouse, with large wrap-around porches and breathtaking views of the Atlantic as their backdrop…
